Welcome to Northern New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery
It's been a long time coming, but now worthwhile for hundreds of veterans and their families in northern New Jersey who can finally have a place for their loved ones close to home: the Northern New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery is now open and accepting applications for veteran burials, its first was in November 2015.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are interested in Wreaths Across America at the Northern New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery please contact Helen Peterson at 352-205-2585 for any information about the event. The Northern New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery is the host cemetery, we are not running the event.
Many have helped bring this to fruition but none more than John Harrigan, who was inspired by a visit in 2008 to the Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Goshen, NY. Read more about John and others in our history and see the gravesite layout of our cemetery. Of course, we could not have done all this without the support and donations from countless others!
Challenge – We have been fortunate to have received a generous grant to fund a Family Room in the Administrative building. Perhaps your business would be interested in doing similarly to assist us in building this facility.
