(click image to open form) What has been accomplished thus far has all been done with private monetary donations, construction service donations, and groups involved in volunteering their time. We do not use any state, county or federal monies to maintain the cemetery. The next phase of improvements and construction will include a building that will serve as a place for families to gather for a service. This building will also provide space for our administrative office. To date $135,000 has been raised towards our $300,000 goal for this building.
If you wish to donate towards this wonderful endeavor please send your donation to the address above. In addition, the Cemetery is also accepting donations for expanding our grounds and general land improvements. The Cemetery is a registered 501(c)(13) charity; your donation should be tax deductible.
If you wish to donate by check: Please make your check payable to NNJVMC and mail to the address above. Please make a note on the memo line of where you would like your donation to go, Building or grounds expansion.

The Northern New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery is owned, operated, and licensed to a group of dedicated Veterans. They receive no compensation. Since November 26, 2015, there have been 180 burials. The eligibility rules are the same as the Veterans Administration’s rules. Phase one will hold 1500 graves and when fully developed the Cemetery will hold approximately 16,000 graves. The land, 67 acres, was donated by Sussex County. We're trying to keep the cost as low as possible. The state of NJ requires a percentage of all plot sales and opening fees go into a Maintenance and Preservation Fund for the perpetual care of the cemetery.
